Van der HoutteThibaud [België ] for him I think that you have to train ITT !
In the game, stamina and resistance are quite important in every stage !
SO to be an excellent sprinter, you don't have to be only good in sprint, but also stamina, resistance, flat !

Welcome to the game! If you haven't already read the excellent Beginners Guide, you definitely should!mr. PT a écrit:Hello,
I registeredmyself today, so i don't know a lot of this game yet.
Here are a few tips to help you get off to a good start:
- if you check the top-10 riders in your division, you can see you need some better racers. Wage is a reasonable measure of how well a racer performs. Try to find some racers with a wage of 2,500+, but keep your bids low. You'll want three or four, and at least one should have Climbing as his top skill. As tacki pointed out, you should not ignore Stamina and Resistance when you are looking at any racer.
- young racers (18-22) will gain about 300 points in their wage every full season of training. I would wait to do any youth recruiting until the start of next season. Any young riders you pull now will only get a few training days before aging. It's better to pull them at the start of the season. Spend the money for an international recruiter before you start pulling, and fire him when you are done pulling.
- a good target is to have some riders with 3,000+ wage to compete in Division 4 or better. So if you pull an 18 year old, and he adds ~300 points to his wage in a full season of training, you can see you want to target 18yos with 1350+ wage when you pull them (or buy them). For 19yos, you are looking for ~1700+ wage. and so on..... (if you plan to compete in Division 4 in Season 27, then if you buy a 21yo climber with ~2350 wage at the start of Season 25, he will be close to 3000 wage as a 23yo when you reach Div 4, as an example)
- to maximize training you'll want an international Coach to train, and a National Doctor so the trainees recover fast and don't lose many training days.
Good luck!!

Also - keep your 21 year-olds. They will do score some points in the U22 classification next season.
Often a good 22yo can win the overall because he scores normal points PLUS he scores U22 points.
